Janet L. Scheuerman, FAAHC

Since 1971, Ms. Scheuerman has focused her healthcare consulting practice on strategic planning, competitive analysis and market positioning, clinical program/service line development and implementation, physician relations and recruitment, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory matters. Her clinical program interests and experience include cardiology, oncology, orthopedics and rehabilitation, women's services, pediatrics, and diabetes.

Janet has consulted with many individual organizations for more than a decade. Her clients include public and private, academic and community, tax-exempt and taxable healthcare systems, hospitals and clinics. She is known for successful implementation of her engagements.

Her initiatives have earned her the reputation as a thought leader in health care. She was instrumental in developing models to predict market trends and emerging physician need. Her approach to consulting is a blend of data analysis, research and process consulting. She utilizes a futuristic approach in which key project stakeholders "buy in" to outcomes. A trademark is a Janet's presentation on the future of healthcare in the United States, "Perspectives From the Future."

Before joining PRISM, Janet was a partner with Herman Smith Associates and later with Coopers & Lybrand. Prior to entering the healthcare field, she spent several years with a major national industrial conglomerate. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Healthcare Consultants.
