Jerry L. Lockwood, CHE
Mr. Lockwood has nearly a quarter century of experience covering a broad spectrum of healthcare services. He possesses a unique combination of planning, project management, group facilitation, and operational analysis skills that enrich each new client engagement.
His operations and consulting credentials includes facility, equipment, relocation and activation planning, risk management, operations analysis and improvement, and public affairs. His experience also encompasses community mental health administration on the direct service, country, and association levels. Jerry’s background includes positions at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (New Hampshire), Allegheny County Mental Health and Mental Retardation Program (Pennsylvania), Coopers & Lybrand (Illinois), and Charles Heinemann Associates (Minnesota).
His consulting clients have included small rural hospitals, physician group practices, ambulatory health centers, multi-disciplinary health systems, long-term care facilities, large urban hospitals and major academic medical centers. While on staff at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Jerry led the planning and implementation efforts that successfully relocated the entire medical center to its new campus several miles away. All patients were relocated in a single day. As a consultant, he has advised and planned several other such relocations. Mr. Lockwood is a Diplomate in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
